I'm Thanos, a designer working across graphic design, type design, and UI/UX, with a focus on typography as a core element of communication and interaction. My practice explores how type shapes user experience-how it guides reading, structures information, and influences the way we engage with content. I'm particularly interested in UI/UX as a space for experimentation, where typography becomes an active interface rather than a passive layer.
I work across different scripts and cultural contexts, developing multilingual design systems that move fluidly between languages and platforms. Balancing clarity and expression, I approach type as both a functional tool and a visual language. Through research, testing, and iteration, I aim to create work where typography doesn't just support the experience, but defines it.

June 2022 - up today
I work as a digital designer at Plaisio, producing a wide range of digital materials including ads, banners, newsletters and promotional landing pages.
My role involves managing the digital image of the brand and collaborating on marketing communication, while maintaining existing campaigns and developing new ones.
June 2021 - June 2022
I work as a graphic designer at Theofylaktos SD, a company specializing in calendar printing and promotional products.
My role includes designing print materials, overseeing print quality control-especially for calendars and promotional items-and acting as the lead designer responsible for the company's digital image and visual consistency.
October 2020 - April 2024
I worked as a graphic design tutor at Axxon Plus, delivering structured training programs for beginner designers.
I led two-month introductory seminars covering fundamental graphic design principles and hands-on training in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Seminars ran continuously, with new groups starting after each cycle.
May 2017 - September 2019
I worked as a graphic and web designer at MDesigners Agency (now Duran), with a strong focus on WordPress-based website design and development.
I led the design and development of multiple websites, served as the primary WordPress developer, and collaborated closely with developers on custom features. I was also involved in managing databases, servers, and technical infrastructure.
July - August 2016
I worked as a graphic designer producing business advertisements for map publications across the Aegean Islands.
My role involved ongoing communication with clients to define brochure requirements, as well as close collaboration with printing partners to manage production and quality control.
